Blerdcon (Black Nerd Convention) returns this year and it has a variety of badge combinations - a full weekend pass being $70. Guests include Cree Summer, Keivonn Woodard, Afua Richardson, Adetokumboh M’Cormack, Karan Ashley, Nakia Burrise, Rachel True, and Uraeus.
Blerdcon also boasts the largest food truck rally at any convention in the U.S. It will have a comedy show Friday night, a fashion walk, cosplay contest, “Fae Par-tea”, “A Different World” 90’s party, panels such as Saturday’s “Afrofuturism and the Future of Black Creativity,” and more.
